If you choose to accept, our mission is to bridge our Austin Asian American and Pacific Islander business professionals to synergize our support and create a more significant impact within the Austin AAPI community. This summit isn’t just one and done! We intend to create space for meaningful dialogue, exchanging innovative ideas, and fostering a supportive initiative between for-profit and nonprofits for years to come.

The selection committee will consist of ERG leads from those who have supported and will be providing significant financial and human resources to host this event

What committee would you be interested in leading?

Project Manager - Oversees the planning activities and coordinates with leads in advance of the event.

Volunteers - Manages the volunteer recruiting, registration, and assignment for the day of the event

Programming (Panel, Speakers, Run of Show) - Develops the thematic framework for the panel and leads a team responsible for assembling speakers and panelists; manages the budget as required.

Community Partnership (Non-profits) -Engages with local non-profit organizations to promote their initiatives during the program.

Food (Food vendors, Scouting) - Determine the menu, select the vendors, and coordinate the logistics of food delivery; prepare the budget requests based on estimates.

Marketing (Strategy, Creative) - Creation of marketing materials; ensures timely preparation of materials for corporate approvals and content for the May event.

Culture - Collaborates with local arts and entertainment representatives to raise awareness of the AAPI presence in the Austin area.
